Pomposa Abbey<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

The ancient Monastery<\/strong> of Pomposa is composed today also by the Basilica of Pomposa. Inside the three naves Church you can find frescos of the XIIIth century of the School of Bologna and in the absyde other frescos of Vitale da Bologna. The spectacular Church is composed also by the Romanic Steeple<\/strong>, with its 48 metres of height, the Hall of the Chapter, the Hall of Stilate, the Refectory, the Dormitory and the Palace of Reason.<\/p>

Inside the Monastery you can admire the hall of the Chapter with its frescos of the beginning of the XIIIth century painted by a pupil of Giotto<\/strong>. The refectory offers the most precious cycle of frescos of the Abbey, probably painted by the Master of the Chapel of Saint Nicola.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

Venice is divided into two parts by the Canal Grande<\/strong>, which represents its extraordinary and most important route in the water, with its majestique Palaces and the monumental Bridge of Rialto<\/strong>. Venice is composed by118 islands, which are divided by more than 200 canals and joined by 400 bridges.<\/p>

The streets in Venice are called ‘Calli’, from the Latin ‘callis’ (which means foothpath); there are more than 3000 calli.
